Assessing environmental attributes and effects of climate change on Sphagnum peatland distributions in North America using single- and multi-species models

The data archived here are (1) raw climate data used for current and future global climate projections using the Hadley Centre Global Environmental Model (HadGEM2-ES), the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies model (GISS-E2-R), and the Beijing Climate Center Climate System Model (BCC-CSM1-1) for representative concentration pathway +2.6; (2) resulting GIS species distribution maps for several Sphagnum species and species combinations using Maxent. The baseline data covers the time period of 1950 to 2000. The future data covers the time periods 2041 to 2070. Data extraction from databases was conducted in January 2016.
