AMPLICON sequencing of sedimentary ancient DNA

Sedimentary ancient DNA (sedaDNA) 18S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing data were generated from two sediment cores collected in the Yellow Sea, including a central South Yellow Sea Mud core (HS1; 6.0 ka BP to present) and a coastal frontal-zone core (B07; 1.7 ka BP to present). The dataset characterizes temporal changes in marine eukaryotic phytoplankton and other protists across the mid-late Holocene. Raw sequence reads are deposited here and linked to sample metadata (core ID, depth, and location).
