Raw RNAseq reads for 48 unique shoot apical meristems at different stage of their floral transition of two G18 MBS847 genotypes from Saclay DSES. One early and one late progenitors from G18 of Saclay's DSES were selfed to produce seeds that were sown at Université Paris-Saclay (Gif-sur-Yvette, France) during summer 2017 and 2018. We collected 22 and 26 plants for early and late progenitors respectively for a total of 48 plants sampled at different stage of the floral transition according to the length of their shoot apical meristems. We dissected their shoot apical meristems that were flash frozen and stored at -80°. Total RNAs from individual meristems were extracted with the RNAqueous-Micro Kit (ThermoFisher) following the manufacturer instructions. Extracted RNAs were checked for purity and quantity using the Agilent 2100 bioanalyzer (California, USA). Libraries construction (SMART-Seq v4 Ultralow input, Takara) with barcoded adaptors as well as RNA sequencing on NextSeq500-Illumina (single-end 1x75 bp) was conducted by the POPS transcriptomics platform.
