Mexico: wind energy installed capacity 2023, by state

As of July 2023, Mexico had wind energy infrastructure installed in 14 states around the country. Oaxaca was the state with the highest installed capacity as of that date, with more than 2.7 gigawatts. It was followed by Tamaulipas and Nuevo León. In the past decade, Mexico's installed wind power capacity increased by more than 13-fold.
