3D Tumor Tissue Analogs: Tumor Microenvironment and Therapeutic Implications in DIPG

To investigate how interactions between the neoplastic and the non-neoplastic cell types in the developing tumor influence the microenvironment and alter properties of DIPG growth and therapeutic response. Overall design: Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of whole transcriptome sequencing data for two patient derived DIPG cell lines (SU-DIPG-VI and SU-DIPG-XIII) C3H10T1/2 cells was performed when cultured alone and when grown with non-neoplastic stromal cell types that included endothelial cells (HBEC-5i) and Microglia (HMC-3).
