Processed ship-based Multibeam Sonar Data acquired along the Juan de Fuca Spreading Center during the Maurice Ewing expedition EW9904 (1999)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based Atlas Hydrosweep DS Multibeam Sonar system during Maurice Ewing expedition EW9904 conducted in 1999 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Maya Tolstoy). These data files are of MBSystem format and include Acoustic Backscatter and Swath Bathymetry data and were processed by the GMRT Team using the open source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software as part of the GMRT Synthesis effort. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 1. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Active Seismic Imaging of Axial Volcano, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE97-11700 and OCE98-11965.
