Contig sequences were assembled de novo using rnaSPAdes v4.2.0 from reads that did not map to the reference genome (CSIRO_AGI_Zmor_V1; GCF_036711695.1) of the superworm (larvae of Zophobas atratus Fabricius 1775, also known as Zophobas morio Fabricius 1776). The assembled nucleotide sequences were provided in the FASTA format.
