Space heterogeneity of nitrogen removal functional genes, nitrogen transformation pathways and mechanisms in MEBR treating mariculture wastewater

The experimental samples were divided into four groups, taken from biofilms on biological filters and microorganisms attached to filter membranes. The biofilm samples from the biological filters in the control and experimental groups are labeled as CB and EB, respectively, while the microorganisms on the membranes are labeled as CM and EM. The biological filters originate from a recirculating water system with long-term stable operation and were used in the experiment after cultivation and acclimatization. The microorganism samples on the filter membranes are derived from biofilms naturally formed on the experimental filter membranes.
