DNA probes for hybridisation capture of 486,547 single-nucleotide variants in dogs and wolves

This dataset contains files used for hybridisation capture of DNA from dogs and wolves, as described in Bergström et al. These files contain: 1) The single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) targeted for hybridisation capture, in VCF format (with corresponding index file). The coordinates of the variants are represented on the dog reference genome canFam3.1. The INFO field of the VCF file contains information on the set of variants from which a given SNP was ascertained. 2) The sequence of the DNA probes designed for use in hybridisation capture experiments, in a tab-delimited text format. Each SNP is targeted by four probes, two of which fall just before and just after the SNP, respectively, with the other two overlapping the SNP but carrying the two different targeted alleles. The probes are all 52 base pairs long.
