In 2022, the annual revenue of miHoYo Co., Ltd amounted to about 27.34 billion yuan. The Chinese game developer is best known for its anime-style game Genshin Impact. Since its release in September 2020, the action role-playing game has become one of the highest-earning titles in the world. Within six months, it achieved one billion U.S. dollars in player spending, the fastest mobile gaming app was able to do that. In April 2023, miHoYo released another role-playing anime game Honkai: Star Rail and raked in over 500 million U.S. dollars within three months.
