资源简介:
The dataset contains data from the Historical Weather Application Programming Interfaces from https://open-meteo.com/ for "Mean Apparent Temperature (2m)", "Maximum Apparent Temperature (2m)", and "Minimum Apparent Temperature (2m)" for the years 2013 to 2023, covering the177 focal cities of the Children, Cities, and Climate Action Lab for the data collection period of August, September and October. These datasets are derived from reanalysis data combining observations from weather stations, aircraft, buoys, radar, and satellites. Mean Apparent Temperature (2m) is the 24-hour average perceived temperature, factoring in wind chill, humidity, and solar radiation. The research team calculated the monthly average [Tavg] of these values to set NON-EVENT sampling thresholds for automated identification using the Airtable platform (https://www.airtable.com/). Maximum and Minimum Apparent Temperature (2m) represent the daily extremes of perceived temperature. The 90th percentile of these values [Tmax90] and [Tmin90] were manually calculated to set EVENT sampling thresholds for automated identification using airtable.
