Genomic analysis of the individuals from El Mirador cave.. El Mirador cave monography

In this chapter we will present the genetic analyses performed on the individuals from El Mirador cave. We will first describe the experimental methods applied to retrieve the genetic material as well as the bioinformatic steps to prepare the genomic data for analysis. Second, we will illustrate how genomic data can help us to improve our understanding of relevant aspects of the human group buried at El Mirador cave.
