We report the coordinates of centromeres in Candida auris by identifying regions of CSE4 enrichment. The centromere-specific histone variant CSE4 was tagged and used for chromatin immunoprecipitation, followed by ChIP sequencing. Seven regions of CSE4 enrichment, corresponding to seven chromosomes were identified. These regions are ORF-free, spanning lengths with an average of 2.7 kb.
