Radiation-induced differentiation of normal human skin fibroblasts.

(1) Gene expression profiles during radiation-induced premature, terminal differentiation of exponentially growing progenitor fibroblasts to postmitotic functional cells after single dose (4 Gy) or two fractions (2×4 Gy). (2) Comparison with gene expression profile of confluent cells after fractionated irradiation with 3×4 Gy Two independent repeat experiments (#1 and #2) for (1) and (2) were performed with GS4 fibroblasts. Further three independent repeats (#3, #4, #5) of (1) for day 3, only, were performed with GS3, GS4, and GS5, fibroblasts
