资源简介:
The construction of hierarchical micro/nanostructures as multicomponent electrodes presents a promising approach to address the issue of poor energy density in hybrid supercapacitors (HSC) and alkaline zinc-metal batteries (AZB). In this research, a novel hierarchical structure comprising NiMoO4 nanosheets adorned with Ni-Co layered double hydroxide (LDH) nanobundles was fabricated on carbon cloth utilizing a straightforward two-step hydrothermal method. Owing to the unique structure and the synergistic effects, the composite-coated electrode demonstrated superior performance when utilized as an anode in various energy storage devices. When paired with activated carbon in the HSC, it could achieve an energy output of 38 W h/kg and a maximum power of 7043 W/kg, and it sustained 80% of its capacitance after 5000 cycles. More importantly, when assembled with Zn flakes as the cathode in an AZB, it attained an extraordinary energy density of 519.7 W h/kg and an impressive power density of 16316 W/Kg. These results signify that the hierarchical NiMoO4/Ni-Co LDH nanocomposite holds considerable promise for applications in energy storage.
