Terrestrial Condition Assessment (TCA) Alaska Road Density (Image Service)

The data were reattributed to represent three classes: (1) Unimproved, (2) Paved, (3) Light Duty roads. The new classes correspond to the following classes from the National Transportation Dataset: </span></span></p><ol><li><p style='margin:0 0 11 0;'><span><span>Unimproved: Four-wheel drive roads. </span></span></p></li><li><p style='margin:0 0 11 0;'><span><span>Paved: Controlled access highway, Secondary Highway or Major Connecting Road, Ramps </span></span></p></li><li><p style='margin:0 0 11 0;'><span><span>Light Duty: Local Connecting Roads, Local Roads </span></span></p></li></ol><p style='margin:0 0 11 0;'><span style='font-weight:bold;'><span>Data Format:</span></span><span><span> Polylines were converted to a raster for each TCA assessment year. The value at a pixel corresponds to the class of road at that location.
