Haha Creek Hydrometric (UKKHAH01H)

This dataset contains hydrometric data for Haha Creek. This site is part of the Columbia Basin Water Monitoring Framework program (CBWMF). The CBWMF is a coordinated monitoring network that tracks how climate change and other impacts are affecting water supply for communities and ecosystems across the Canadian Columbia Basin region. This watershed strongly aligned with the Upper Kootenay Local Reference Group's identified priorities of monitoring drinking water sources and watershed used for or impacted by agriculture. Monitoring in this watershed also increases the coverage of the "Mid to high elevation watersheds that are relatively dry and warm" (Group UKK 10A) which the 2023 CBWMD Data Gap Analysis of the Upper Kootenay Hydrologic Region identified as underrepresented in the pre-existing monitoring network.
