This is the archive containing the data and code required to replicate the results of the nest survival analysis presented by R.F. Van den Berg, B.K. Sandercock, C. Le Bohec, and A. P. Nesterova in 2025, for the article "Effects of Regional Weather and Agricultural Practices on the Nest Survival of Northern Lapwings in France".Meta-Data:- Original Data Purpose: Scientific analysis of nest survival rates of Northern Lapwing (Vanellus vanellus)- Species: Vanellus vanellus, the Northern Lapwing- Location: Northern France, the departments of Pas-de-Calais, Somme, Bas-Rhin, and Haut-Rhin- Year: 2021, 2022- Time of collection: The spring and summer of the years 2021 and 2022, between March and June of each year.- Sources of weather data: ERA5 climate dataset for original climate data (Hersbach et al. 2020), NicheMapR microclimate predictions using micro_era5 based on microclima (Kearney &amp; Porter 2017, Klinges et al. 2022, Maclean et al. 2019, respectively)- Data quality: Imperfectly cleaned data with follow-up cleaning included in the provided R code for its specific original analysis purpose- Censored data: To protect the nesting areas of Northern Lapwings analysed in this study, the precise GPS locations of the nests have been excised from the dataset. This resulted in new results for the analysis, which have been appended to the archive.
