Sorghum Gene Expression in Response to Time of Day and Chilling Stress

The goal of this project is to understand the effect of the time of day and chilling stress on gene expression in sorghum. We utilized 3' RNA-Seq with external RNA spike-in controls to determine the expression level and found an increase in transcript abundance in the evening regardless of temperature treatments. We also identified novel genes in response to chilling stress at dusk.
