Comprehensive analysis of bacterial pathogens in diabetic foot ulcers: Isolation, antibiotic susceptibility, and whole Genome

Diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) swabs were analyzed in this study to determine the antibiotic resistance patterns of bacterial pathogens. Antibiotic susceptibility testing identified multidrug-resistant (MDR) isolates, including Klebsiella pneumoniae and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), which were then characterized using whole-genome sequencing (WGS)nome sequencing (WGS).
