Image Triplets of Stained Glass Windows from St Martin's Basilica in Liège: Intact Grayscale, Damaged Color, and Damage Maps

Description This dataset consists of image triplets of 4 stained glass windows from the St Martin's basilica in Liège, Belgium. These windows have been damaged by hail in 1946. Each triplet depicts a section of a window and contains a grayscale picture of this section before the damage, a color picture of the damaged section, and a damage map indicating the damaged areas. Structure There are 4 parent folders, one for each window, named after the window nomenclature in [1]. They contain triplet folders. Each triplet folder contains 3 images of the same section of stained glass window:(1) A grayscale image of the intact window(2) A color image of the damaged window(3) A mapping of the damaged areas The name of each triplet folder corresponds to the photo number of the grayscale image in BALaT. Sources and rights The grayscale images are downloaded from BALaT, https://balat.kikirpa.be. They belong to the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage (KIK-IRPA) and are provided under a CC-BY license. The color images and damage mappings are freely provided by Isabelle Lecocq.
