Differential methylation in maize grown under water deficiency (drought stress)

Leaves of a commercial maize hybrid (Fidias) grown under normal irrigation (well watered; WW) and under drought stress (DS), and collected 60 days after sowing (DAS) were used in this study. Moreover shoots and roots of the inbred line B73 were also collected at 5 DAS.Data were used for the estimation of the relative methylation changes using our own pipeline (MCSeEd) and to reveal differentially methylated positions (DMPs) and differentially methylated regions (DMRs) between contrasting samples.
