Microbiomes detected by bronchoalveolar lavage fluid metagenomic next-generation sequencing among HIV-infected and uninfected patients with pulmonary infection

We conducted a retrospective study to compare the lung microbiomes between HIV-infected and HIV-uninfected patients with pulmonary infection by metagenomic next-generation sequencing (mNGS), which is conductive for early diagnosis, early treatment and improving the prognosis among HIV-infected patients with pulmonary infection.
