A new database of deep excavations

This is the database from the publication Sandene et al (2024). This publication presents an extensive Norwegian database with monitored ground movements and pore pressures from 48 deep excavations or case records in soft clays. The aim is to highlight the consequences and aid geotechnical engineers and hydrogeologists in predicting expected movements caused by deep excavations in urban areas, including effects of groundwater drawdown. The novelty of the database is the vast documentation of the effects of drainage to deep excavations on the pore pressures in the surrounding areas.
