Dataset of "Influence of the polyethersulfone/polyvinylpyrrolidone based nanofibrous separators on the properties of high-voltage Li-ion batteries"

A composite design with silicon nanowires grown on graphite particles was investigated using experiments and electrochemical simulations. An electrochemical model was developed to capture how nanowire volume expansion affects electrolyte transport in the porous electrode. The model was integrated into a particle‑resolved simulation framework to support electrode optimization. Using this approach, the balance between electronic connectivity and electrolyte accessibility was analyzed. Mechanistic insights and design guidelines for high‑performance silicon–graphite electrodes were established.
