The 2D Cam Explorer is designed to be used with the mechanical wave machine. The 2D Cam Explorer represents a single segment consisting of one cam from the wave machine. After a classroom demonstration of the wave machine to illustrate wave properties, the 2D Cam Explorer can be used to enable individual students to explore the principles underlying the wave machine.
