Global Gridded Historical Emissions of Other Chemical Species of Interest to CMIP5 (CH4, SO2, NOx, CO, NH3, BC, OC, and VOCs), 1850-2000

Historical spatial emissions are provided for the following gases: CH4, SO2, NOx, CO, NH3, BC, OC and VOC. VOCs are split in addition into individual species, including alcohols, hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons, ethers, esters, formaldehyde, ketones, acids, and other VOCs. Other additional species such as C2H4O (acetaldehyde), C2H5OH (ethanol), C2H6S (dimethyl sulphide), C3H6O (acetone), and others are available only for biomass burning emissions.
