This dataset was developed using Mieczkowski’s (1985) ‘tourism climate index’ (TCI) . Seven climatic variables based on monthly means were integrated into the TCI. These climatic variables are maximum daily temperature, minimum daily relative humidity, daily average temperature, daily relative humidity, total precipitation, hours of the sunshine per day and wind speed. Furthermore, all of the climate variables were combined into five sub-indices as Daytime comfort (CID), Daily comfort (CIA), Precipitation (P), The Sunshine (S) and Wind (W). Climate data for 112 weather stations was used to create the images with Inverse distance weighted techniques. Finally, the data of each climate variable was classified using conditional statements following TCI’s Rating Scheme.

本数据集系采用Mieczkowski于1985年提出的‘旅游气候指数’(TCI)构建而成。该指数整合了基于月均值的七个气候变量,包括最大日温度、最小日相对湿度、日平均温度、日相对湿度、总降水量、每日日照时数及风速。此外,所有气候变量进一步被合并为五个子指数,分别为日间舒适度(CID)、每日舒适度(CIA)、降水量(P)、日照(S)及风速(W)。为生成图像,采用了112个气象站的气候数据,并运用了反距离加权技术。最终,依据TCI的评级方案,通过条件语句对每个气候变量的数据进行分类。
