Life Styles and Patterns of Mobility in Hertfordshire Commuter Villages, 1964-1965

This small data set includes research material collected from two related projects: 'The Brickendon Lane Estate Mobility Survey, 1965' and the 'Survey of the Wife in the Family, 1964-65'. These were both carried out as part of the activities of the University of Cambridge Extra-Mural Studies Department. The collection includes 30 brief interview notes and 3 completed questionnaires.

They can be seen to represent Professor Pahl's initial enquiries into topics given fuller consideration in his later study: 'Managers and Their Wives'.
