Coding Dataset and Replication Materials for a Bibliometric Analysis of Education and Climate Change Research (1976–2026)
收藏资源简介:
This deposit contains the replication materials for the article One Word, Two Objects: Educational Attainment and Pedagogical Intervention in Climate Change Research (under review). Contents: coding_dataset.xlsx / coding_dataset.csv: Article-level classifications for 513 peer-reviewed articles drawn from a stratified sample of the Scopus database (search date: April 24, 2026). Each record includes the Scopus EID, publication year, journal, disciplinary category, country of empirical study, geographic context (Global North/South), ND-GAIN vulnerability and exposure scores, and the two primary coded variables (Education Concept: Stock/Flux/Peripheral/Both/Education-as-object; Climate Focus: Adaptation/Mitigation/Both/Unclear). sampling_script.py: Python script (Google Colab) used to draw the stratified random sample from the full Scopus corpus (N = 4,751), with fixed random seed (seed = 42) for full reproducibility. How to use this dataset: Full bibliometric metadata (titles, abstracts, authors) cannot be redistributed under Scopus terms of use. Individual articles are retrievable by joining the EID column with the results of the search query described in Section 2.2 of the article, executed in Scopus. The coding protocol, prompt specification, and decision tree used to classify each article are provided in Supplementary Material S2 of the article. Keywords: climate change education, bibliometric analysis, systematic review, educational attainment, climate adaptation, LLM-assisted coding, Stock/Flux paradigm, social vulnerability.
