Plateop European Inspection Index 2026-09: periodic vehicle inspection failure index per car model and age group (Netherlands, United Kingdom, Czechia)
收藏资源简介:
Comparable inspection failure index per car model and age group across three European countries, built from open government inspection data. Index 100 = national average of that age group; 150 = one and a half times the national failure rate. 976 model and age group cells, 329 with a European index. Countries define "failed" differently: the Dutch APK counts any real defect, the British MOT counts the initial failure before retest, the Czech STK counts only serious and dangerous defects (grades B and C). Raw percentages are therefore not comparable across borders. This dataset expresses each model as a ratio to its own national average for the same age group (index = model failure share / national failure share x 100) and combines countries into a test-weighted European index only when a model has at least two countries and 5,000 tests. Sources: RDW open inspection data (Netherlands, rolling window 2023-08-26 to 2026-08-18), DVSA MOT test results (United Kingdom, test year 2025), Czech STK inspection data (Ministry of Transport, 2025). A national index requires at least 1,500 tests of the model in that age group. Editions are frozen: this file never changes after publication, so cited figures stay verifiable. Columns (CSV): editie, band (age group in years), merk, model, land (nl, uk, cz), bron, keuringen (tests), met_afkeur (tests with a failure, country definition), aandeel, vloot_aandeel (national failure share for the age group), landindex (round(aandeel / vloot_aandeel x 100)), europese_index (test-weighted average of national indexes, empty below the thresholds), europese_landen, europese_keuringen. The JSON file carries the same data plus per-country baselines and top lists; README.md documents the method.
