Belarus LGBTQ+ Discourse Pressure Index (BLDPI): monthly PI/PDI series, source-category breakdowns and monthly reports, September 2025 – August 2026

BLDPI (Belarus LGBTQ+ Discourse Pressure Index) is a research instrument developed by LGBTQ+ House to quantify discursive pressure on LGBTQ+ people in the domestic public information space of Belarus. Only sources with editorial presence inside Belarus are included; the observation platform is Telegram, the unit of observation is a public message of a source (including forwards). Every message included in the calculation passes mandatory human verification (100% human-in-the-loop). Two complementary monthly metrics: PI (Monthly Pressure Index) = Σ Dp·Wk·La and PDI (Monthly Positive Deviation Index) = Σ D+p·Wk·La, where Dp is the coded pressure intensity of a message (0 / 1 / 2 / 2.5), D+p the positive-deviation code (0 / 2), Wk the institutional weight of the source category (1.0–3.0) and La = log10(1 + subscribers) the log-normalised audience reach. This deposit contains: monthly PI/PDI series with counts of negative and positive posts (Sept 2025 – Aug 2026); monthly breakdowns by nine source categories and four aggregated categories; daily counts of negative/positive posts; the full observation frame of 520 public Telegram channels with category, weight and audience size; codebooks of categories, weights and scales; two static charts (monthly PI by source category with PDI; daily counts); the twelve monthly PDF reports (RU/EN) listing every message included in the calculation with its per-post PI; README with methodology (EN/RU/BE). Post-level texts, links and codes are not part of the public dataset.
