Very Broad Band Seismological Data recorded at Esperanza (ESPZ) during 1997

Seismic data recorded at Base Esperanza during 1997 by station ESPZ are
currently available in Reftek SEGY format after processing of the field DAT
tapes using ref2segy program. The data set contains a continuous seismic
channel recorded at 1 sps and trigger recordings at 10 sps for the Z, N-S, E-W
components from day 001 to day 053 and continuous seismic channels recorded at
1 sps and 20 sps for the Z, N-S, E-W components from day 054 to the end of the
year. Timing is provided via a GPS receiver. The sensor is the Guralp CMG-3T
who shows a flat velocity response between 0.01 and 50 Hz. The site is a wooden
building located in the Argentinian Base Esperanza in the interior of which the
seismometers are installed on a cement pillar anchored to the underlying rocky
ground.
