Zebra Mussels In South Carolina: The Potential Risk Of Infestation

This publication introduces the reader to the potential risk of zebra mussel infestations in South Carolina, and particularly the conditions favorable to dispersal of this invasive species. The report includes color photos, extensive water quality data from four basins, and a fold-out map showing the levels of risk across the state. It was initiated by the South Carolina Zebra Mussel Task Force and supported by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, South Carolina Sea Grant Consortium and Clemson University.
