16S rRNA sequencing of duck embryos intestinal at different stages

As oviparous animals, avian can obtain nutrients through foraging after hatching. Therefore, the improvement of embryonic intestinal function is of great significance to avian. During hatching, the remaining yolk in the egg is absorbed into the intestinal as a nutrient source for the development of the late embryo and post hatch. Therefore, we take duck as a model to investigate the colonization and changes about species a nd functions of gut microbiota during the yolk absorption process in avian. Our work could be helpful in amplifying the source and characteristics of intestinal microorganisms during the development of avian embryos, and would provide a basis for early microbial colonization research on avian embryos.
