Environmental water sample treated with TCE, Ox-ZVI and VB1 raw sequence reads

Trichloroethylene (TCE) is a prevalent environmental pollutant, causes significant disruption to microbial ecosystems. While zero-valent iron (ZVI) has been widely adopted for TCE removal, its potential impacts on microbial ecological remain poorly understood. In this study, we introduced vitamin B1 (VB1) as a supplementary treatment and collected natural water samples to systematically investigate the synergistic role of VB1 in TCE removal and microbial community dynamics under different treatments (TCE, ZVI, and VB1)
