La abertura /e/ > /a/ condicionada por /r/ y /l/ en judeoespañol

We analyze the opening of unstressed and stressed /e/ in /a/ conditioned by /r/ and /l/ in Judeo-Spanish <i>(parsona, ṿualta).</i> To do this, we previously delimited the casuistry in order to rule out apparent examples of opening. It is possible, then, to specify the contexts that cause the opening, as well as the geography of the phenomenon. We also delve into the use of the opening, since it varies with the conservative solution<i> </i>(<i>puerta</i> ~ <i>puarta</i>), and we conclude with an overview of the phenomenon according to the phonological context and the geographical area.
