global reference library and classifier head for insect acoustic recognition (frozen Perch 2.0)

Releasable derived model artifacts for EarthChirp, a training-free recogniser for singing insects (Orthoptera and Cicadidae) built on the frozen Perch 2.0 bioacoustic foundation model. Includes the tiered reference-library prototypes (L2-normalised 1536-d Perch embeddings for 2,012 species, 619 genera and 3 groups), an optional MLP species classifier head, and a per-recording source-attribution manifest (32,076 recordings across GBIF, Xeno-canto, SINA and InsectSingers). No third-party audio is redistributed; each source recording is credited by URL.
