资源简介:
Diabetic patients suffer from gastrointestinal (GI) complications associated with dysmotility, enteric neuropathy and gut microbiota dysbiosis. Previous studies show that high-fat diet (HFD) causes type 2 diabetes (T2D) conditions in male mice after 4-8 weeks, but only does so in female mice after 16 weeks. We studied sex-related differences in the development of T2D conditions, GI dysmotility, enteric neuropathy and gut microbiota dysbiosis in a mouse model.
