Responsible Suspension and Phenomenological Collapse

AbstractThis paper develops an integrative theoretical framework combining Responsible Suspension (RS) and the Phenomenological Collapse Model (PCM). The model conceptualizes consciousness as a multi-dimensional system structured by temporality, horizonality, embodiment, and possibility. Drawing on phenomenological traditions (Husserl, Heidegger, and Merleau-Ponty) and existential theory, the study proposes that conscious experience exists as a dynamic equilibrium between constructive suspension and collapse thresholds. Responsible Suspension is defined as a controlled modulation of experiential parameters enabling meaning reconfiguration, whereas phenomenological collapse refers to the breakdown of structural coherence in lived experience.
