VPRS 19371 Central Council of Auxiliaries Annual Reports

This series consists of annual reports of the Central Council of Auxiliaries of Prince Henry's Hospital. Annual reports provide a report to government, contributors and to the hospital on the activities of the hospital auxiliaries for each particular year. Auxiliaries were formed to assist the hospital in various ways, particularly with fundraising. The Central Council of Auxiliaries was formed in 1929. The Annual Report and Statement of Accounts 1947-48 was the nineteenth annual report book issued by the Central Council of Auxiliaries (CCA). It is the first of the annual reports known to be extant. Information to be found in these records includes the Hon. Secretary's Report, President's Report, the names of office bearers, lists of Life Governor certificate recipients, and a summary of reports from the various auxiliaries describing their activities and fundraising for the year. The annual reports also include financial statements for the year.
