Solar PV employment figures in the European Union 2022, by select country

In 2022, Poland's solar PV market had the largest workforce amongst European Union countries, at nearly 150 thousand full-time equivalents (FTEs). Spain and Germany ranked second and third that year, with employment figures amounting to some 103 and 96 thousand FTEs, respectively. Inverter manufacturing represented the largest share of solar PV manufacturing jobs in the EU in 2022.
