Interplanetary solar events catalogs

This dataset contains catalogs of interplanetary solar events which in-situ signature has been identified in the OMNI dataset from 1995 to 2024 (inclusive). These catalogs are at the core of the method presented in the following article: Gautier Nguyen, Guillerme Bernoux, and Antoine Ferlin. “Simultaneous multi-class detection of interplanetary space weather events " Accepted for publication in theJournal of Space Weather and Space climate , 2025. The dataset is made of three catalogs that correspond to three types of events: Interplanetary Coronal Mass Ejections (ICMEs), 859 events Sheaths, 233 events Stream Interaction Regions (SIRs), 1277 events Each list is in a CSV table with three columns: id: the event’s relative identifier; start date: event start date and time; end date: event end date and time; Those catalogs were obtained by aggregating existing event catalogs and newly found events throughout the development of the method predented in the publication associated to this dataset. We may update the list occasionally in the future. The research leading to these results was done within the frame of the ONERA FIRSTS internal research project
