Flood events and flood hazard zone in Ionian Islands and Western Greece

Flood Events and Hazard Zones in the Ionian Islands and Western Greece. Data are sourced from the Ministry of Environment and Energy’s Flood Risk Management Plans (SDKP), available at https://floods.ypeka.gr/sdkp-lap/sdkp-2round/. The dataset includes the rivers, flood events and flood hazard zones and where were extracted from https://gis.floods.ypeka.gr/. In addition, the archive provides flood hazard hazard assessment map in TIFF format. All shapefiles, along with their associated files, can be downloaded and used in any Geographic Information System (GIS) platform. The flood events shapefiles include the coordinates of each event within their attribute tables (accessible only through GIS software). The dataset also include the shapefiles of rivers of the area.
