Dataset is available for three species (<i>Mullus barbatus</i>, <i>Arnoglossus laterna</i> and <i>Buglossidium luteum</i>) on which the analysis for the paper was performed. Dataset for each species consists of .txt files showing number of fish of a certain length (LENGTH) retained by codend (TEST column) and cover codend (COVER) in that haul. Furthermore, some additional data for each haul are available: information on sampling factor (Sampling), number of meshes in codend circumference (CIRC) and the weight of codend catch at the end of each haul (CATCH).
