This is the raw and processed data for the American Journal of Botany publication: Flowers occupy colorspace extremes: an anthocyanin-derived theoretical floral colorspace approach. The associated code is on github at: https://github.com/jlwatts98/Ruellia_theoretical_colorspace. The raw_data.csv file has the raw data. The anthocyanins_spectra.csv has the processed spectra and anthocyanin concentrations for 61 samples. The ruellia_occurrences.csv is a processed dataset of all the Ruellia occurrences used to calculate geographic overlap between species pairs for a subset of species for which we had both anthocyanin data and phylogenetic data.
