We propose to use coherent imaging with sub ~25 nm spatial resolution in few layer CrI3 and Fe3GeTe2 2D ferromagnets at Helium temperatures under different field protocols, to investigate magnetic configurations including the possible presence of chiral domains and topological magnetic states such as merons or skyrmions. In CrI3, which is our main goal, the possibility for non-collinear states and its phase space remains largely unexplored with only one (or a few) very recent reports with limited observations of magnetic domain structures. Additionally, we want to also dedicate a small part of the beamtime to complete our previous interesting results on Fe3GeT2, in order to clarify the nature of some observed skyrmionic states using CDI. This is a continuation of proposal 2022097140.
