Supplemental data and Tables for the Manuscript “Identifying Framboidal Pyrrhotite: a Proxy for Hydrothermal Alteration of Organic-Rich Sediments”.

This dataset contains the original paleomagnetic measurement data underlying the paleomagnetic figures presented in the manuscript, as well as three tables compiled in a single Word document. Table DR1 reports the EPMA compositions (atomic %) of pyrrhotites from representative samples. Table DR2 provides a summary of total organic carbon (TOC) contents and mean natural remanent magnetization (NRM) intensities at various depths. Table DR3 lists Ro values of samples from the SY1 well, where Rob denotes bitumen reflectance in oil and Ro represents equivalent vitrinite reflectance calculated as Ro = 0.618 × BR + 0.4 (Jacob, 1989). “Number” indicates the number of points measured.
