The dataset consists of BD Influx-based analysis of phytoplankton populations from discrete flow cytometry data collected underway during the Gradients 2021 (Gradients 4/TN397) oceanographic research cruise in the equatorial Pacific Ocean. The analysis includes cell abundance, forward light scatter, and pigment fluorescence of individual cells, including picoeukaryotes and the cyanobacteria Prochlorococcus and Synechococcus.
