Lagodon rhomboides genome assembly and annotation files

This FigShare Project contains the assembly and annotation files associated with the pinfish (Lagodon rhomboides) genome. A summary of the contents of each file is given below.Lrhomboides_complete_MAKER_annotation.gff.gz: Full GFF output of final MAKER annotation. Putative genes are assigned names but have no description or information.all_annotations.csv: Table of gene names and descriptions for genes detected by MAKER, resulting from BLAST searches against databases of known genes from close relatives. This gives (putative) functional information for genes in the pinfish genome, which can be matched with their positional info from the GFF file.Lrhomboides_genome.fa: Full genome assembly in fasta format (can also be found on NCBI under genome assembly accession number JBBNBP000000000). Lrhomboides_proteins.fa: Fasta file containing protein sequences for annotated genes in the pinfish genome.Lrhomboides_transcripts.fa: Fasta file containing sequences for transcripts annotated from the pinfish genome.
